The Quest Season Two – ABC are you listening?

The Quest Season Two question to ABC: Are you listening?

the quest season two

The geeks spend an entire segment asking the question to ABC:  Are you listening?

The geeks let their two cents be heard about The Quest Season Two.

It does not take a market expert to understand that there is very strong engagement behind ABC’s The Quest.  It has built a mini-cult following.  DM asks several times during the segment: ABC, Are you Listening?  The people who watch your station and tune in on a week in and week out basis are telling you something.

TinKnocker brings up the point that even the producers are involved in the live tweet sessions and how much fun that can be.

Of course Sundance and his eclectic tastes brings up Grey’s Anatomy? (Another ABC Show), and the geeks have some fun with him about that one and the inevitable KickBoxer references come up, along with some of his other more sordid tastes in DVDs.

TinKnocker also drives home the point that much of the ground work is done for a season two including some of the auditions, the set/location, and other things that make a second season much easier to pull off.

All good shows must come to an end, but The Quest Season Two hasn’t even gotten a beginning.  As a social experiment, with little to no advertising, in network our off network, it would seem that ABC never had faith there would be The Quest Season Two, but the fans are not going to go quietly and they are going to let ABC off the hook.

There were an estimated 16,000 tweets during the final episode of The Quest Season One.  Is this an engaged audience or what?  Again, for a show had little but word of mouth to go on, how much more could ABC ask for?

If ABC doesn’t want a 2nd season… it should be shopped to other networks or Hulu/Nexflix… It’s ABC’s marketing that was the issue, never the show.

Always has been a problem with ABC and their marketing, they only market what they think will work and rarely take chances

Talk more about the quest! Force abc to hear us!

I would like to see this show continue. This is a show for everyone. I like survivor but always end up not liking some of the characters, because they are back stabbers. On this show everyone knows what its about and actually wants each other to win. Its about building self confidence and esteem. There is no financial gain so people want to really play these quests for themselves not for a dollar amount.
