2014 Year in Review by GeekLine415

2014 year in review     2014 year in review

As the end of year rapidly approaches, we do the 2014 Year in Review.  The Geeks take a look back on 2014 and give their highlights and lowlights of 2014.

As an exciting year, the Geeks had a lot to look back on.  From the great games they had a chance to play, like Good Cop, Bad Cop from Overworld Games, as well as the new version of WizWar originally by Tom Jolly and re-released by Fantasy Flight Games, the 2014 Year in Review is a chance to wax nostalgic.

The Geeks remember the great guests they’ve had through the year and all the people they have had a chance to meet during the year at the various con and industry events.  Old friends like 3-sages games, along with new ones like Adam Lash of Gigahoes and Javier Palenzuela of the soon to be released Beasties and Bygones.

The Geeks are looking forward to a great upcoming year and a lot more fun times to come, but the 2014 year in review is a time to reflect on the good, the bad, the not-so-funny, and the hilarious.

Besides the 2014 Year in Review what else did you talk about?

Of course we always make room for our Parlay segment.  For those of you that don’t know what this is, this is modeled after the classic video game series Pool of Radiance.  When interacting with NPCs in that game you are sometimes given the option to “Parlay”.  There are five possibilities to choose from: Nice, Meek, Haughty, Sly, and Abusive.  The Geeks tend toward the Abusive side, and tonight was no different but this time, it isn’t TK rubbing things raw about the 2014 year in review, instead it is RedShirt who get’s salty about a fan favorite director/producer.  You’ll have to tune in to the show at the 48:50 mark to find out more!
