Tonight the Geeks talked about greatest comic book deaths with Bob Salley and George Acevedo.  Bob is the creator and writer of the Salvagers Comic Book and George is the lead artist and director.

The geeks talk all kinds of horrid deaths that comic book characters have faced over the years (Aquababy????) and Bob and George join in on the fun throwing in their own thoughts.

We also get to learn a lot about Salvagers and what went it to creating it, and how two guys who had never even met each other, or even talked to each other until very recently, went about putting together what we hope will be one of the great sci-fi comics of the next few years.

Tonight, Loki from http://www.savagemojo.com joined us and we talked Geek Movies, Savage Mojo Lich Queen, Rise of Set and all things Suzerain!  What a great time to hear about some old classics from the gang, and some REALLY old classics from Loki (Just kidding…. not really).

Loki also gave us some insight in to what is coming up and when the new Palace of the Lich Queen might be released.  As the final part (3) in a series of epic proportions, the Lich Queen wrap up, which started with Tomb of the Lich Queen and continued with Machine of the Lich Queen, is set to be one of the greatest dungeons ever created and can go right along side anything from the newer generation of dungeons but can find itself compared even to some of the immortal TSR classics.

It what has now become a quest of it’s own, our weekly look at “The Quest” on ABC takes a look at the run of the #BeAHero campaign.  Fans from all over the country took part in this campaign doing everything from donating to charity, to dropping “Pick me up” letters around local towns, to taking to twitter in droves to re-iterate their commitment to the Quest.  DM decided he would give blood in the name of The Quest ABC as a symbolic show of his willingness to bleed to get this show back on the air.

In the first 30 minutes, the geeks talk Toys with Radio Bob from Bob’s Radio Cafeteria heard exclusively on FCCFREEradio.com.  During the second half of the hour, Steve Debaun from TripWest Games, the Designer of Ars Victor, the hot new one hour war game joins the geeks to talk their experiences with the great new war game that actually takes less than two days to play!

Talking about toys with Radio Bob is always a treat.  The geeks and Bob discuss all the toys they loved as kids including those Kenner Star Wars figures, GIJoe and of course, the bandwagon/fanboy toys like Transformers.  What were your favorites?

DM spends his segment on ABC’s The Quest reminding everyone, ABC included, that “There is an Opportunity”.

On October 23, 2014 there is an opportunity to BeAHero.  While every day we have a chance to BeAHero, this Thursday is of particular importance so the fans of The Quest can send a message loud and clear to the decision makers at ABC:  Give us The Quest: Season 2.

As DM puts it in only ways he can, he let’s us know that no matter what happens with The Quest, “Why not be a hero?”.  Having done something good, is a reward in and of itself.

We the geeks of Geekline415 are extremely grateful to Rob Eric and all the producers for even the first season of The Quest, and we will continue to use our growing listenership to point them to The Quest and expose them to imagination and merge ...

The geeks spend an entire segment asking the question to ABC:  Are you listening?

The geeks let their two cents be heard about The Quest Season Two.

It does not take a market expert to understand that there is very strong engagement behind ABC’s The Quest.  It has built a mini-cult following.  DM asks several times during the segment: ABC, Are you Listening?  The people who watch your station and tune in on a week in and week out basis are telling you something.

TinKnocker brings up the point that even the producers are involved in the live tweet sessions and how much fun that can be.

Of course Sundance and his eclectic tastes brings up Grey’s Anatomy? (Another ABC Show), and the geeks have some fun with him about that one and ...
