Good Cop Bad Cop: Geeks Choice

Good Cop Bad Cop

One of the geeks favorite games, the subject and cause of many a salty tear and tirade,  Good Cop Bad Cop.  Tonight the geeks talk with Brian and Clayton from Overworld Games and they are talking Geeks Choice:  Good Cop or Bad Cop as well as the new expansion to their game Good Cop Bad Cop called Bombers and Traitors!  Everything from movies and TV to comic books to some of the strangest old school 1975 movies no one has ever heard of!

Remember “Dirty Harry” Callahan from the Dirty Harry movies portrayed by Clint Eastwood?  Was he a good cop?  Or maybe a bad cop?  Or, maybe both???  What about Wyatt Earp?  Probably a good cop.  Walker Texas Ranger?  Good cop.  Paul Blart?  Mall Cop.  Steven Segal?  Definately a Bad Cop.  You get the idea!  Take a listen and let us know if you agree!

So what is this game Good Cop Bad Cop?

Ever played a hidden identity game before?  Maybe something like Clue?  Well Good Cop Bad Cop is a fast paced card game for kids of all ages.  A hidden identity game based around perception and deception, your identity changes every game.  You are either a good cop, or bad cop, as dictated by the cards dealt to you, and your job is to sniff out the Agent if you are a bad cop, or sniff out the Kingpin, if you are good cop, and then plug em’ full of holes!  But be careful, if you aren’t sure, you could end up filling the wrong person with a lot of lead!

As one of the geeks favorites, they were excited to learn about the new expansion: Good Cop Bad Cop: Bombers and Traitors available on KickStarter right now!

From the KickStarter page:

“The Bombers and Traitors expansion adds another layer of deduction and new opportunities for deception. You will not only be investigating players to find out who is Honest and who is Crooked, but also to figure out if anyone is a Suicide Bomber or a Traitor. Additional Equipment cards have been added to aid you in your new tasks.

The Bombers and Traitors expansion still facilitates the wild and exciting gameplay of Good Cop Bad Cop, but opens the door to new strategies. If you eliminate a Bomber or do not eliminate a Traitor, everyone but them will lose, so Crooked and Honest cops alike must momentarily put their differences aside to work together and avoid these threats.

In addition to adding new gameplay experiences, Bombers and Traitors expands Good Cop Bad Cop to support as few as three players.”
