Salvagers Comic & The Agency with the authors!

Tonight the geeks were joined by Bob Salley of the Salvagers series of comics and Ruben Romero of the Agency series of comics.  The two of them have joined forces in comics (the Salvagers comic & The Agency) and the two of them combine forces and join the geeks for some conversation about the what Alien race would you not want to invade earth?  There are the obvious choices like The Flood or the Covenant, but what about the pod people from Invasion of the Body Snatchers?

The geeks also talk with with Bob and Ruben all about the Salvagers comic and the Agency series of comics.  The Salvagers comic (an old geek favorite) has issue 3 that have come out so far.  But with some great Kickstarters we have issue 4 coming, and a NEW entire series and story arc of the Salvagers comic with a new crew!!!  Bob gives us all some great insights about his process, and he also offers a few sneak previews on what we can expect out of the new crew and even some of the old ones in the upcoming series.

And then the geeks turned their attention to Ruben Romero and The Agency.  Thanks to Bob, the geeks were introduced to Ruben and his series of comics and Think Alike Productions.  Ruben was kind enough to send over the first part of the series, and it is clear, the geeks are hooked.  As DM mentioned, it seemed kind of weird at first, that there would be magic schools mixed with G-men and Egyptian gods, but it certainly all came together, and it did so in such a way that you will be begging for the next panel!  It’s this kind of story, that is deep and rich that the geeks really enjoy.
