Top Geek Gifts ideas for 2014

top geek gifts

On tonight’s broadcast, the Geeks discuss the top geek gifts and all they want for Christmas and some great gift ideas for 2014 (albeit somewhat unrealistic for most of us, it’s nice to dream isn’t it?).  In the spirit of doing a countdown the Geeks ranked their “gift” ideas and share them with all of us!

10.  The Mighty Mini dual purpose 3-gallon distiller from MileHiDistilling.com  (engineer your own buzz, how geek!)

9.  The Samsung 105″ Curve TV (surround skin-a-max?)

8.  A 3-d Printer (printing your own miniatures for games?  Totally a top geek gift)

7.  The iPhone 6 Plus (C’mon, doesn’t every geek already have one?  If not, they need one!)

6.  The Go-Pro 4 Black Edition (Paintball pwnage in 4K, totally geek chic)

5.  REDACTED!  (Listen to the show at the 18:20 minute mark)

4.  A new Xbox 1 interface (Does ANYONE like the current interface?)

3.  A Quad-copter drone (Use your Go-pro to spy on the neighbors!)

2.  The Oculus Rift (What geek doesn’t want to immerse themselves completely in alternate realities?)

1.  REDACTED!  (Listen to the show at the 48:00 minute mark to find out which of the top geek gifts reigns supreme!)

Top Geek Gifts?  Were there any honorable mentions?

You’ll have to listen to the show for some honorable mentions, but, there were obviously quite a few things that didn’t make the list, but there were a few that were worth mentioning:

Honorable Mention: A PS1 emulator for Sundance (so he can play all those laser rotted PS1 games)

Honorable Mention: A lifetime subscription to Hulu so TK can have no more advertisements to get salty about

Honorable Mention: The Atari Flashback 4 to have a retro night!

The geeks also take a quick moment to Parlay Abusive about the “Customer” and how they can sometimes be less than courteous.  We’ve all been there for sure!

We are looking forward to the “Year in Geek” coming up next week and going into the New Year with tons of great guests and geek topics!
