Crit Juice / NTMTO Podcast joins in on Starships!

Crit Juice

The Geeks were joined by guest Geek David Crennen, the DM/GM of Crit Juice and Never tell me the Odds (NTMTO) Star Wars Live-Play RPG Podcast.  And what is more appropriate when talking Star Wars RPG than to talk Starships?  The best, the worst, the mundane and the exotic.

The Geeks jump right in and begin discussions with a few old favorites and then things go sideways from there.  Who the hell thinks the Tardis is a Starship?  Maybe, could be, not really…

The Geeks get a chance to ask David about his inspirations for Crit Juice and the NTMTO podcast.  Did you know that none of what you hear on Crit Juice or NTMTO  is made up in advance?  That flow and that witty banter is made up on the spot, and podcast to you as it happened...

The geeks talk all kinds of horrid deaths that comic book characters have faced over the years (Aquababy????) and Bob and George join in on the fun throwing in their own thoughts.

We also get to learn a lot about Salvagers and what went it to creating it, and how two guys who had never even met each other, or even talked to each other until very recently, went about putting together what we hope will be one of the great sci-fi comics of the next few years.

While the world waits with baited breath for the third installment in the Salvagers series, Bob has launched a new kickstarter in his cont...

Loki also gave us some insight in to what is coming up and when the new Palace of the Lich Queen might be released.  As the final part (3) in a series of epic proportions, the Lich Queen wrap up, which started with Tomb of the Lich Queen and continued with Machine of the Lich Queen, is set to be one of the greatest dungeons ever created and can go right along side anything from the newer generation of dungeons but can find itself compared even to some of the immortal TSR classics.

What is this Savage Mojo Lic...

The Quest ABC — What’s it going to take?

the-quest-abc-tv-show

It what has now become a quest of it’s own, our weekly look at “The Quest” on ABC takes a look at the run of the #BeAHero campaign.  Fans from all over the country took part in this campaign doing everything from donating to charity, to dropping “Pick me up” letters around local towns, to taking to twitter in droves to re-iterate their commitment to the Quest.  DM decided he would give blood in the name of The Quest ABC as a symbolic show of his willingness to bleed to get this show back on the air.

DM asks the inevitable: ABC, what is it going to take?

Did we finally get DM’s insane character map for The Quest ABC?

DM takes some time to talk about his “pet names” for each of the characters on The Quest...

BeAHero: There is an Opportunity: The Quest

beahero

DM spends his segment on ABC’s The Quest reminding everyone, ABC included, that “There is an Opportunity”.

On October 23, 2014 there is an opportunity to BeAHero.  While every day we have a chance to BeAHero, this Thursday is of particular importance so the fans of The Quest can send a message loud and clear to the decision makers at ABC:  Give us The Quest: Season 2.beahero

As DM puts it in only ways he can, he let’s us know that no matter what happens with The Quest, “Why not be a hero?”.  Having done something good, is a reward in and of itself.

We the geeks of Geekline415 are extremely grateful to Rob Eric and all the producers for even the first season of The Quest, and we will continue to use our growing listenership to point them to The Quest and expose them to imagination and merge ...
