The geeks took on the task of playing and reviewing some games from Overworld Games and in particular their game Good Cop, Bad Cop. With their new Kick-starter available we’re hoping to show you how great their games are so you can pop over to Kick-Starter and help them. The prices are reasonable and their new game called “New Salem” looks really fun with a lot of intrigue, great artwork, and terrific game mechanics.

Besides Overworld Games, what else did you talk about?

With Pacificon 2014 in the books, we have to say we had a great time overall. We met a lot of interesting people, some great vendors and some great game designers. We have so many games to review and people to thank it will take us quite a while.

With two days in the books so far at PacificonGameExpo 2014, I think the Geeks have been pleasantly surprised at a lot of things.  The turn-out has been brisk and we are getting a lot of attention with our awesome purely geek-built booth.  We have been giving away T-shirts and stickers and the community has been very supportive and engaged with us, even coming up with a few great ideas for future shows (Thanks Jeff!).

We have really had a great time mingling with our fans old and new so far and we’re looking forward to two more days!

We have gotten a few requests to port the podcasts over to iTunes so we’ll do that when we get back so you can join with us even easier right from your Apple device.

Catch the latest podcast from 8/26! The geeks took on a few subjects this week with the premise being: If you had a super powers what would you choose??? Want to know what we chose? Take a listen! With every super power comes a responsibility, what would you do with the super powers you chose? Would you use it to save man kind or maybe use it only to support your own interests.

We then spoke out our new favorite geek show called “The Quest” (Available to watch on ABC, Thursday nights, 8PM PST or on the abc.com’s The Quest website). This weeks Quest was like no other. The challenges are getting more and more exciting. By adding swords into the repertoire the paladins now have a new weapon to learn...

Why in the world would we call this Superman vs Batman?  Because if you read the comics, Batman is the home team at this point and this is HIS fight to loose.  So with very little information release about the storyline they will use for the movie, we are left to ponder, will the story follow the comic or will we somehow deviate in yet another Hollywood sell-out script?  It should be a situation where we know the ending and the excitement should be how we get there.  If they follow the series as they hopefully will, Batman will use his brain (what a GEEK!) and defeat Superman.  We are hopeful that is the case, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens.

We get quite a lot of surprises as our host Sundance has a surprise hot geek chick that shocked all of us.  We find out Sundance might not be as straight laced as he plays on the radio!?!?!?!
